Justus Automation Services GmbH, based in Mündersbach, Rhineland Palatinate, is your specialist for the planning, development, and implementation of customized automation solutions. A particular focus is on the automation of biomass plants.
For over 20 years, we have had in depth experience in wood combustion. Our know how includes underfeed, grate, and injection firing systems, as well as hot water boilers, natural circulation boilers, and superheated steam boilers for turbine operation. We support and manage plants with capacities ranging from 1 to 60 MW.

Comprehensive retrofit for a biomass plant
At an industrial company in the wood processing sector in Austria, the switchgear was modernized as part of a retrofit project and a new automation and process control system was implemented. The software for the firing system, boiler, and fuel supply was renewed, and flue gas heat recovery as well as water and steam distribution were integrated into the new automation concept.

Combustion optimization and process control system for a 26 MW grate firing system
At a company in the furniture industry, a control concept was developed for a 26 MW grate firing system and targeted combustion optimization was carried out. In addition, CFC programming was implemented and the visualization was migrated to a client server system using Siemens WinCC 7.5.

Modernization of the control system for two combustion chambers
At a company manufacturing doors, a retrofit project was implemented to introduce control systems for two combustion chambers. The implementation was carried out using Siemens TIA Portal Version 20 Unified and included the renewal of the control systems for two plants, each with a capacity of 9 MW.
